Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and you deserve to look, and feel stunning. Soph is a bridal make-up and hair specialist.

All Eyes on the Bride!

Your Wedding day is possibly the only day when all eyes are on you! For this reason, you need to look, and feel stunning. Doing your own make-up may feel like the simplest and cheapest way, but the photographs can be disappointing and many regret the decision. This is your day, and you deserve to look the best you possibly can.

Highlighting your Best Features:

A make-up artist is trained to highlight your best features, be it beautiful big eyes, a perfect pout, or chiseled cheekbones. However, if you have been applying your make-up all your life, the chances are you won't highlight or even notice your best features. A make-up artist sees things you and other people cannot. They will try colours you have never worn before, which may enhance your appearance and bring your skin to life.

Relax... You're Worth the Pampering:

Soph will visit you on the day of the wedding, and get you ready for the biggest day of your life. As well as feeling pampered as your make-up is applied, you will feel calmed and relaxed, which is important, as stress will show in your face if you are tense.

Make-Up for the Mothers and Bridesmaids:

The mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and bridesmaids can also be made up. Soph will arrive around three hours before the ceremony is due to begin (depending on the number of people to be made up) and make-up is applied to the bridesmaids first, mothers of the bride and groom, and finally the bride. This way the bride can relax and enjoy the preparations, and will join the ceremony looking freshly made-over.

Don't Forget your Evening 'Do':

Soph is also available to change your make-up for your evening party or celebration. Often the natural make-up which looks beautiful during the day needs redefining as it can lose its freshness. The best make-up in the world only has so much staying power against tears, kisses, and champagne glasses! Also, stronger make-up can be used, as low lighting is perfect for smoldering, smoky eyes. You can afford to look a little sexy at your evening 'do', and after all that planning and preparation, you deserve it!

Trial Runs

Should you decide to go ahead and use Soph for trial, please visit Soph in her private salon in order to do a full makeover and test what shades, colours, and products are right for your skin. This is important, as it enables Soph to see what works for you, before the wedding day. If at any stage you are unhappy with any aspect of the makeover, i.e. colours, shading, foundation, or just the general 'feel' of the make-up, Soph will change it and find something you are happy with. You need to be 100% happy with the results by the time the trial is over.

Enjoy the Experience:

Many brides find the trial very enjoyable; after all, you have the make-up artist's undivided attention, and are able to try out new colours and products.

Great Tip

"Make sure your hands and feet are pampered too! Book a manicure and pedicure for the day before your wedding to save time on your wedding morning. The less you have to do the better." Soph provides a discount rate for the bride-to-be on manicures and pedicures, only if she is booked for the wedding day.

Trial Consultation:

There is a charge for the trial consultation. If at this stage you decide Soph to be your make-up artist & hair stylist on your wedding day, rather than charging per person, which is impersonal as everybody is different, Soph works on a package basis in order that you get the best possible price.

Book Early:

Please note. Summer months do get booked up quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Payments:

A deposit is required when you make a booking and is charged half the price of quote given (non refundable). Remainder payment is due on the wedding day

Cancellations

In the unlikely event that you wish to cancel your wedding, Deposits are non refundable and will lose your deposit.
